News Of the Game!

'Blades come out scoring with new, old players!

Secret Weapon has 3 goals, Teddy  with 2, All Three Lines start to click! 'Blades beat old Foes Scouts 9-3!

Here are the line combinations... some are decades old!  The All Star line returns as the "Love Line" - Dickey, Teddy, and Flea to be tested by the "Size Line" (the old Fat and Bald without Flea) with the new Scoring sensation, Bruiser (got to be the stick!) with Hatchet and Eel.  Tonight, Hatchet was late, because his boss came over to play video games, so the Mussle joined the Size line.  The Lords of Discipline had their chief, the King, with Stevey and Ziggy (the hair is back, so the scoring will follow!)

On D - we have the physical line - Hound Dog and the Cat; and the Tick-tac-toe line now has C. Hockey with Secret Weapon.  Hatchet joined the wheel of death, alternating!  Matty and Johny Stash were with BHT, so who cares about them!

We started out strong, Size with the first goal.  Stevie and the Lords took over next, we're up 2-0 at the end of 1.  I don't think they had any shots!

Second started with a back and forth, Secret Weapon, the rookie off-season pick-up back, and a couple goals.  End of 2nd, we're up 4-2..  Must be all the time in the Renaissance City (Newark, for those of you who must be Danish) Kent really knows how to handle sticks!  A couple of "guests" in their "Es-ca-lott-tays!" and he ain't talking coffee.  (Cat believes that it's a marketing ploy by Cadillac to target Renaissance City Residents with an eye to style for their Escalades...but who knows!), but I digress...

Next period saw the Blades with their best.  Although the Bruiser could have had another 4 goals, (if only Eel would pass!) he ends up the period tied with Dickey with 1 goal a piece.  The 'Blades have another 5 goals, crush the Scouts, despite an off night from the Dominator (If I don't see any shots - it's okay for me!) and the rout is on.  Remember when the Scouts crushed us, just last January!  Well, the new and improved Fireblades are back....

Next up - the Bombers and Bruce Driver!  (and it's a Pizza Night to boot, and life get any better?  (only if Dickey gets a date with Anne the Man!)

We play the Bombers, up from Division D, but remember 2 years ago we only just beat them, so they may be the class of the division???
