News Of the Game!

Spectacular Embarrassement, says the Cat, but 'Blades win, over surging Cubs, 10-1.  Flea with 2 Goals and 2 Assists, Secret Weapon, C. Hockey with 2 more Goals!

We wonder who will receive Dickey's Valentine, Mom or his boss?

After the sketchy win over the cellar dwelling Scouts, that the 'Blades just won last Sunday, could they have a chance and continue their 9-game win streak with a victory over the Cubs, who have gone from the bottom to 3rd place in just a few weeks?

No problem.  In what Cat called an embarrassment of a game, (as the 'Blades played just a little too hard for a blow out over our league fellows) they poured it on.

In a day without beer, the 'Blades proved that they wanted out of here fast, and off to the bar, it was an hour game, and TGIF's by 11:30!

I don't remember any goals, (they're too the right as always) but there were penalties.  Stevie No-Pass with one in the final two minutes?   I guess the 'Blades are clawing their way to Toronto, for an appearance in the Abacus Financial Bowl, to show that the Collapse of 1995 was a fluke, but one that continues to haunt the 'Blades to this day, going 14 games, and losing in the finals to a no where team!

Oh well, the snow shoveling calls, and I need about 14 Heinekens to go out theres, so let's get going!
Catch the 'Blades on the road to Toronto!
