Bad Penalties Marr 2nd, 3rd Period, but 'Blades Prevail over 'Wolves, 5-0

If Teddy Plays on Cousins Line, He would have his 30 Points

C. Hockey with Style and Aplomb, Amazes All.

Stevie comes to bench after 4 minutes in the box, Dickey doesn't miss a shift!

With the 'Blades already clinching first place, it was a nothing game, but for these ice warriors with the best record in New Jersey, nothing is automatic!  With Whitey as the ref, though, many penalties was automatic!

With Russ retired, Stache on IR, Hatchet and Billy out, the lines had to be jumbled.  Some 'Blades were chasing personal bests for stats, so the team would sacrifice to get them to their plateau?  Nope.  Poor Teddy!

As C. Hockey always a student of the ebb and flow of hockey lore, knows that March is playoff time, and he needed to be in shape, so he took charge!  (was that Flea, with the two-game suspension there for inspiration?  Why yes!)

C. Hockey  on the line with his mate, the Bruiser, went to score 2 goals, and we're up 2-0!  The T-wolves aren't even pressing, it seems, poor Donny only got a few shots...

Then the penalty box beckoned... what's that Stevie to get the puck?  Penalty.  Shrug your shoulders?  In "Whitey-Land", that's a penalty!

4 minutes in the box, the 'Blades under-manned, and still the Wolves don't press.  We're not playing our best, but that's okay!

They it's the Love Line, with a few, a "jump" by Dickey, you'd thought he won "Employee of the Year" at Beeper-Land!  Sorry more penalties, aand on and on it went.

It seemed the whole 2nd and 3rd periods were 5 on 4, but they still didn't press or score, and even shoot!

Heck, it's a win and Driver tomorrow!
